Welcome to our Cloud Center of Excellence (CCoE)In our CCoE team, we are three DSB colleagues, a few consultants and members of our Indian sourcing partner. The team consists of experienced architects, as well as new learners interested in taking on the world of AzureYou will be part of We work on the span between innovation and operations.The CCoE focuses on DSB’s cloud infrastructure development and is part of the Datacenter & Cloud Services department. Currently, DSB hosts 50% of all its infrastructure in Azure, with a plan for further expansion.Azure is the strategic direction, with a small Google Cloud Platform on the side. We are considering the possibility of a European alternative if the geopolitical situation requires it.We are working with cloud solutions in all areas: data services, AI/ML, and container-based, utilising the newest services available from Microsoft, including security tools and Azure Virtual Desktop.Currently, we are implementing a new cloud operating model to enhance the operational maturity of our organization.This is an environment where you can grow technologically and work cross-sectionally with a broad variety of technologies.“By joining the CCOE in DSB, you can work hands-on implementing the newest cloud services from Azure with all the freedom and flexibility you need”,says Simon, Cloud Architect in the Cloud Center of Excellence.Your everyday life as a Cloud ArchitectIn this role, you will be responsible for enhancing DSB’s public cloud infrastructure. This implies overseeing the design and implementation of cloud-based infrastructure, ranging from networking, databases, container-based solutions, and everything in between.You will be an important part of a team that cooperates to explore the possibilities within the world of Azure.You will do everything within IT – advising teams on the proper technical solutions, designing solutions, as well as implementing them.Your primary tasks are to
- Advise on the use of Azure technologies based on best practices
- Design and development of secure and scalable cloud solutions
- Participate in projects as a Cloud Architect
Who are you?We are looking for an experienced Cloud Architect with at least 5 years’ experience with Azure and Kubernetes.You are motivated to optimise IT processes through automation rather than manual solutions.You thrive in working alongside external suppliers to deploy and manage our solutions.You are keen on improving the technical proficiency across the team.You can recognise yourself in most of the following
- Able to design solutions using Azure native services and related technologies
- A good understanding of networking (e.g., Azure Virtual WAN, Azure Firewall, and related technologies)
- Used to aligning with other architects and teams, e.g., about network routing
- Experienced with Infrastructure as a Code (Bicep, Terraform, PowerShell, YAML pipelines, etc.)
- Experienced in Entra ID authentication
You don’t have to be knowledgeable in all areas. We seek a generalist in many areas and a specialist in Azure.You build good relationships within the team and promote a lively work environment.Furthermore, you must speak and write Danish or be interested in learning.What can DSB offer you?
