Reports to: Head of Cloud ServicesAre you a passionate Cloud Operations Engineer ready to shape the future of cloud infrastructure in a dynamic fintech environment? We’re looking for a highly skilled Cloud Ops Engineer (IC) to join our forward-thinking Cloud Services team.What you will doAs a 100% individual contributor, you’ll bring your hands-on expertise to design, implement, and support a wide range of cloud infrastructure projects across AWS and Azure. Your work will be critical in evolving and modernising the environments that power our cutting-edge fintech solutions.You’ll:

• Lead technical execution and maintenance of diverse cloud solutions, with a strong focus on automation and reliability.
• Drive adoption of Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Ansible) to streamline and scale deployments.
• Collaborate with Product and Security teams to enable secure, cloud-native deployments.
• Continuously improve existing cloud infrastructure to meet evolving business and technical needs.
• Share your knowledge and guide others on best practices in cloud operations.

We operate a hybrid cloud setup using both AWS and Azure, with an increasing emphasis on automation and resilience. Our teams work autonomously in agile environments (Scrum or Kanban), with a shared focus on collaboration, innovation, and delivery.Skills and experience we are looking for…Cloud & Infrastructure Proficiency:

• Strong experience with AWS (VPC, IAM, S3, Lambda, Aurora, ELB, Transit Gateway, etc.)
• Solid understanding of Linux systems (CentOS, Red Hat, Ubuntu)
• Proficient in Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform, Ansible, and Packer
• Network design and troubleshooting competency in cloud environments

Scripting & Programming:

• Skilled in Python
• Familiarity with Java (basic understanding)

Soft Skills & Attributes:

• Self-motivated and autonomous, yet collaborative
• Pragmatic and solutions-oriented mindset
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• Passionate about technology and continuous learning
• Able to deliver senior-level contributions without the need for supervision
