Do you want to help make an important difference for children in vulnerable positions and their families in Hvidovre? Do you want to take responsibility as a leader and create good experiences in safe communities for children and parents?About the position
We have just entered into a 3-year partnership agreement with Hvidovre Municipality, which means that we can restart the club under a new and improved framework with an expanded recruitment base of children and parents. As a club leader, you will be responsible for leading the club and ensuring that the families benefit from the activities we offer.You will be at the head of a team of volunteers and ensure that safe and fun experiences are created for the participants. Our goal is to provide children and their parents with positive shared experiences that strengthen their unity and well-being.Your primary areas of responsibility will be:
- Lead and coordinate the club’s activities: You will plan and run regular activities together with the other volunteers, where children and families can participate in everything from creative workshops to excursions in nature.
- Recruitment and support of volunteers: You will be responsible for recruiting, coordinating and supporting the volunteers who are part of the club and ensuring that they are dressed for their tasks.
- Contact to Hvidovre Municipality: You will be our primary contact person in relation to the collaboration with Hvidovre Municipality and ensure that we live up to the framework and goals of the partnership agreement.
- Cooperation with the Save the Children Secretariat: You will work closely with the Save the Children Secretariat, which supports you in your work and ensures that we deliver high-quality activities that make a real difference to children and families.
We are looking for a club manager who has:
- Desire to take responsibility and step into a leadership role where you can motivate and inspire both volunteers and families.
- An open, inclusive and positive approach that creates good relationships with the families and the volunteers.
- Good organizational skills that enable you to plan and implement activities.
- The ability to create an overview and structure so that both the volunteers and the families feel safe and welcome.
- Commitment and time to set aside approx. OK 5-10 hours a month, as well as participating in meetings and activities.

Scope and practical information
As a club leader, you must be able to set aside time to plan and implement monthly activities as well as coordinate and support the volunteers.
