The role is highly varied, and areas of responsibility include both project management, analytical work, and management and involvement in selected strategic and tactical projects together with colleagues across the Norwegian organization and with other parts of Nexi Group’s European organization.The Commercial Manager in Norway will support the Norwegian Management team with strategy development, strategic planning, and monitoring to ensure sound objectives are described and aligned with overall objectives and Group targets.The Commercial Manager’s primary focus is on Merchant Solutions for the business areas SME, Partner, and Large and Key Accounts. The Commercial Manager plays an important part in developing business strategies and ensuring proper commercial steering to ensure that our strategic targets are reached. In these processes, there will be extensive collaboration with the sales organizations, the product- and proposition teams, and the group’s marketing functions. Furthermore, there will also be a high degree of interaction with other parts of Nexi’s commercial organization.To ensure that plans and decisions are well-founded, the Commercial Manager will do various analyses of the performance and market development of Nets’ Norway customer portfolio. As all conclusions and proposals need to be presented and aligned with colleagues and senior management, a high degree of presentation work in PowerPoint can be expected.To be successful in the role, the Commercial Manager must be detail-oriented and meticulous, while at the same having a strategic view on Nets Nexi’s’ current and potential future position in the Norwegian market. It is important to collaborate well with specialists in both commercial and analytical areas to deliver high quality within stipulated deadlines. To be proactive in the dialogue with relevant internal stakeholders is a necessity, as is confidence to challenge our established ways of working.Success will be defined as being able to demonstrate significant contribution to Nets Nexi Norway’s strategies, projects, and profitable growth. The ability to deliver high-quality output within internal and external deadlines is also a top success criterion.Your key responsibilities in this role will be:
- Deliver on the defined Norwegian management tasks and responsibilities
- Set up, drive, and lead commercial projects according to waterfall methodology managing resources across departments and functions
- Continuous work on developing the Norwegian business strategies for our various business areas
- Active monitoring and reporting on progress toward agreed business targets by defining and tracking relevant KPIs
- Collaboration with the product- and proposition teams to ensure proper commercialization of innovation in the Norwegian market
- Strategic and financial analysis, with subsequent verbal and/or written presentations of conclusions and proposals to colleagues and senior management
- Timely update and present market share and competitor overview for Norway
- Active participation in various individual transformation initiatives across Next’s European MS operation

- An academic degree within e.g., strategy, finance or economics, preferably a Master
- Ideally
3 years of experience in broad and facts-based work within strategy, project management, marketing, or similar positions * Strong presentation and visualization skills
- Strong spoken and written Norwegian and English skills
- An able user of Excel, PowerPoint, and other standard software
- Experience in the payments industry or other financial services is meritorious, but is not required
- Well-organized self-starter with a hands-on approach to work
