In this pivotal role, you will ensure the reliability and integrity of our automated business processes, while driving new features and enhancements across the Salesforce platform and other commercial tools. You’ll collaborate closely with Operational Excellence, Revenue Operations, Product R&D, and Finance to design, implement, and maintain business process automations that support our strategic objectives. This position is a blend of hands-on technical expertise and business-savvy leadership-perfect for someone who thrives on bridging technology and commercial outcomes.We value each candidate’s unique strengths and are open to tailoring the scope and title of this role to align with your expertise.Key ResponsibilitiesCore Responsibilities:Salesforce Platform Ownership

  • Serve as the primary owner of the Salesforce ecosystem, championing secure-by-design principles to ensure platform integrity, security, and performance.
  • Stay current with Salesforce releases, technologies, and best practices, leveraging relevant features (e.g., AI, machine learning) to optimize efficiency.

Technical Leadership & Collaboration

  • Work cross-functionally to capture and analyze business requirements, translating them into functional and technical specifications and drive adoption of commercial technology.
  • Lead and participate in Agile development and DevOps practices, ensuring rapid and high-quality delivery of new features.

Commercial Systems & Automation

  • Architect, integrate, and maintain commercial tools that streamline revenue operations.
  • Guide the creation and evolution of our integration infrastructure to seamlessly connect cloud applications and enable smooth data flows.
  • Manage end-to-end delivery of commercial technology projects, ensuring completion within scope, on schedule, and on budget.

Strategic Alignment & Innovation

  • Align commercial solutions with organizational objectives, using your business acumen to demonstrate value and ROI to stakeholders.
  • Track emerging technology trends and proactively recommend innovations to enhance efficiency (e.g., e-commerce, automation).

What are we looking for?Required Qualifications:Salesforce Expertise

  • Deep knowledge of the Salesforce ecosystem; Salesforce certification(s) highly preferred.
  • Experience in platform governance and best practices, including security, data integrity, and performance tuning.

Commercial Tooling & Architecture

  • Familiarity with a range of commercial systems (current and upcoming), with an eye for how they integrate and complement Salesforce.
  • Solid understanding of productization, pricing, and revenue operation processes.
  • Ability to look at things from the big picture perspective and employ end to end thinking.

Technical Acumen

  • Hands-on experience with Agile software development and DevOps practices; comfort with DevOps tooling is a plus.
  • Strong integration strategies and technologies expertise, ensuring seamless data movement across systems.

Business & Stakeholder Management

  • Proven ability to balance business objectives with architectural best practices-translating complex issues into clear, actionable steps.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the capacity to own and resolve both technical and business challenges. Understanding of data privacy and compliance standards, with the ability to handle sensitive information discreetly.

Bonus pointsAdditional Qualifications:

  • Deep knowledge and experience from some business area. For example, Sales, Service, Marketing, Finance, Product management etc.
  • Familiarity with common security standards and frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST) and best practices for safeguarding data and systems.
  • Experience and knowledge regarding agile development frameworks e.g. SaFE
  • Expertise in business process automation (robotics automation and agentic AI).
  • Familiarity with data mesh architecture principles and advanced analytics tools, focusing on scalability and flexibility in distributed data ownership.
  • Knowledge of MDM strategies to ensure data consistency, quality, and governance across multiple systems.
  • Experience with implementing and integrating e-commerce solutions, including marketplaces and partner portals.
  • Familiarity with B2B2B or partner business models, enabling seamless collaboration and revenue sharing.
