By joining our team, you will have the opportunity to work across a diverse range of topics, while also working closely with our businesses, to help drive the People and Communications agenda.We are now looking for aCommunications Manager, media relations and crisis communicationsto join our global People & Communications (P&C) team for a fixed-term role in our global communications team at KONE.We are looking for a strong team player with the ability to take on daily tasks but also longer-term projects and manage them independently. As a communications professional you will handle media relations, both with Finnish and international media aligned with our strategic plans, and you will manage our global press release process. You will have an important role in developing and managing our media relations and crisis communications tools, processes, and channels. You will take part in training our spokespeople on both media relations and crisis communications, and you will get to support our local teams in their PR and crisis comms efforts. It is natural for you to navigate in a global organization and with different levels of stakeholders within the organization and have flexibility in your ways of working.The position is fixed-term, until the end of April 2026, with start date as soon as possible. This will be a maternity leave substitute position.The location is Espoo, Finland.We expect you to have:A suitable academic degree in corporate communications or journalism or other relevant fieldMin. of 5 years’ work experience in communications and media relationsExcellent writing, editing and verbal communication skills both in English and in FinnishExcellent digital communications skillsExperience in crisis communications, including organizing trainings and simulations in a multicultural environmentExperience in planning, creating, distributing and monitoring editorial content for and in different channelsExperience in managing and leading projectsFlexibility and ability in adapting to changing priorities and environmentCollaborative team player mindsetAccuracy, attention to detail and good organizational skillsAbility to work on multiple projects simultaneously, take charge of issues and follow through to resolutionSelf-motivation and excitement to tackle challenging projects, working together with your broader teamInternational experience is seen as an assetWant to #joinourflow?KONE is building up a unique community, aiming to provide the most advanced People Flow® solutions for its customers and lifting the customer experience to the top.
