This is a fixed-term position, lasting until the end of June 2027. We hope you can start as soon as possible.Your Role and GoalsAs a Communications Specialist, you will participate in our news production, website content development, and marketing our educational programs. You will also be responsible for maintaining and continuously developing the school’s social media channels. In addition, you will assist in event production and participate in community communication.You will work as a partner for the School’s Communications Manager and be supported by the university’s communications and marketing network. The position is located in the Content and Marketing team at our Schools’ Communications Services unit.Your skills and experienceWe are looking for a communications specialist with a demonstrated ability to translate complex topics into content that is interesting and understandable for the broader public, as well as the ability to create and share engaging content for young audiences, such as high-school and undergraduate students.In addition, we hope you haveSeveral years of experience in similar duties.Degree in a relevant field, e.g. communications, marketing, engineering.Excellent written and spoken Finnish and English.Ability to create engaging content for various channels and target audiences.Ability to learn new systems and tools, and a broad understanding of digital communication.Strong organizational skills, including project planning and multitasking in matrix teams.What we consider an assetHands-on knowledge of planning, executing, and analyzing search engine (Google Ads) and social media marketing (FB Business Manager) campaigns.Proficiency in producing high-quality visual material (e.g., photography, video, graphic design).Skills in omni-channel content production, from landing pages and webinars to social media posts.Experience in organizing online/offline events and trade fair participation.Experience with Drupal, Wordpress, or similar publishing platforms.An interest in science, technology, and the world of research will help you succeed in this position, and your excellent people skills will aid you in navigating an international environment.What we offer:A meaningful and inspiring environment.
