FunctionTo further professionalise its operations ITS.be is looking for a Community Manager.

  • industry expertise & insights: Stay up to date with national and international developments in the ITS sector, detect the main challenges in the sector and ensuring members are informed of relevant barriers and opportunities.
  • stakeholder engagement: Maintain strong relationships with policymakers, private and public stakeholders and sector experts.
  • community development: build and develop the its.be member community by assessing member needs, conducting market research and analysis to identify sector challenges, expand networks and enhance partnerships.
  • content creation: Craft compelling content for the ITS.be website, social media & newsletters to promote ITS.be’s initiatives and positions.
  • events: Support the organisation of regular workshops or meetings and of the annual ITS.be Congress, in coordination with external partners. Represent ITS.be Belgium at other congresses, conferences, and member events, actively contributing to discussions and preparing for these engagements.

You report directly to the Director of ITS.be.Profile

  • you have an academic degree with proven affinity for data-driven and technological developments in mobility
  • you have a minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience
  • with your exceptional networking skills, you develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders such as policymakers, transport authorities and industry leaders
  • you have strong project management skills, with the ability to plan and execute projects efficiently
  • you are open-minded and flexible in navigating different perspectives, mapping them to common objectives
  • you developed proficiency in social media management (LinkedIn), content creation and digital marketing
  • you have an ability to report in technical environments, delivering precise, concise and timely insights
  • you have excellent written and verbal communication skills in Dutch, French and English.
