Job Description:About your roleJoin us at Orion as our Global Compensation and Benefits Specialist. In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting our growth and transformation by designing, maintaining, and enhancing our compensation & benefits programs and processes to ensure they support Orion in strategy execution, meet organizational goals, support talent attraction and retention and contribute to an exceptional employee experience.Role is permanent and will report to the Head of Compensation & Benefits in People & Culture function.Your key responsibilities

  • Program and process development: Collaborate in the design and implementation of compensation strategies and benefit plans, based on organizational needs and market trends, as outlined in our annual C&B roadmap. Contribute in the development and execution of global compensation & benefit and performance management processes including also development of HR information systems supporting those processes.
  • Compensation & benefits administration: Manage the administration of compensation and benefits programs, ensuring they are competitive, sustainable, and aligned with business strategy.
  • Reporting and analytics: Develop and maintain comprehensive reports and dashboards to provide insights into compensation and benefits metrics, aiding strategic decisions.
  • Employee communication and training: Conduct informational sessions and create materials to educate line managers, employees and People & Culture network in compensation & benefit related topics, ensuring clear and effective communication of program changes and updates.
  • Project management: Lead and support projects related to compensation and benefits and performance management initiatives, ensuring they are delivered on time and meet project goals.
  • Vendor management: Liaise with external partners and service providers to resolve issues, and ensure high-quality service delivery.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a Compensation and Benefits role, with a proven track record in managing and enhancing C&B programs.
  • Skills:
  • Knowledge of compensation structures and benefit packages.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
  • Excellent analytical and quantitative skills including excellent Excel skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, effective with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proficient in using HRIS systems to manage compensation and benefits data.
  • Languages: Fluency in Finnish and English is required.
