Ranging from foreign exchange-, interest rate-, and commodity risks to liquidity- and counterparty risks. Treasurers are instrumental in identifying and mitigating these risks. Effective treasury management skills can furthermore release funds and be a catalyst to support the growth ambitions of the organization.Our clients are primarily CFO and treasury functions in a broad range of industries. As a team, we advise our clients on strengthening and developing their treasury and financial market risk function. Our treasury advisory team partakes and draws on the thought leadership and methodologies developed in Deloitte’s Global Treasury Advisory practice. Our consultants have hands-on experience from industry backgrounds and/or a broad range of projects within our practice area.Your focus will be to work with our clients to process map, design and deliver treasury management transformations programs, often backed by a technology solution.Exciting tasks await you
- Project and stakeholder management
- Financial risk management policies, including back-testing of alternative approaches
- Liquidity forecasting modelling and data analytics
- Cash management rationalization and In-House Bank solutions
- Treasury M&A, carve-out and Post-Merger Integration programs
- Design/configuration of Treasury Management Systems (TMS) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Treasury ESG impact and sustainable supply chain financing solutions
Qualifications
- Experience from a treasury/finance function, or a consulting firm, is an advantage
- Ability to work across geographies and with different cultures
- Self-starter and can-do attitude
- Good communicator
- Excellent skills in Powerpoint and Excel
- 2-4 years of proven experience
- Relevant theoretical background at candidate level
- Strong English skills. A Nordic language at mother tongue level is an advantage
