Job description
Enersense Engineering is currently looking for a Cost Consultant to join our client’s dynamic and innovative team that drives the future of infrastructure for high-tech environments. The position is permanent, and the work is located on-site in Hamina, Finland.As a Const Consultant for MEP (Mechanical, Electrical and Piping), you will play a key role in delivering large-scale projects in a fast-paced and innovative environment.Main tasks and responsibilities:
Managing large projects or complex work streams and delivering defined outputs that meet or exceed client expectations
Line management responsibility for the development and performance management of other team members to support the development of client’s business
Supervise teams of Cost and Commercial Specialists on multiple projects
Act as primary client contact for all cost and commercial related reporting and quality assurance
Review teams work outputs before submission to client and other external groups
Maintain a demonstrable understanding of the Client’s key objectives
Assure compliance with contracts in terms of project delivery parameters and scope of service
Use own knowledge and experience of industry best practice to support the development of current cost and commercial management systems and processes
Working to continually improve services and drive innovationRequirements:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline Quantity Surveying (Engineering, Construction Management)
Relevant professional certification
Extensive previous experience in a similar role
In depth technical knowledge, including construction processes and cost and commercial management
Experience of leading smaller projects and supporting on larger more complex projects
Experience delivering analysis and insights
Experience working closely with external stakeholders to build client relationships
Experience managing business relationships and supporting with middle management level activities
