We are looking for a Credit Analyst to join the Energy & Commodities team within Industry & Corporate Analysis (I&CA) in Helsinki. I&CA is the corporate and industry specialist unit within the Corporate & Investment Banking division. We are responsible for providing SEB’s global business and credit decision makers with in-depth independent analyses of corporate counterparties, industries, and transactions. Welcome to SEB.About the roleYou will be part of a committed cross-border team focusing on the Energy and Commodities sectors. You will prepare and present your analysis and recommendations to the various decision-making authorities within the bank, providing a thorough understanding of the customer’s business and financial risk profile, as well as transaction related risks. Staying on top of economic, business and market developments relevant for our exposures will thus be an essential part of your job. Communication and cooperation both externally with our Clients, as well as internal stakeholders including client teams, product specialists, and Credits will also be an integral part of the business and credit assessment.To thrive in this role, we believe you have
- A university degree, preferably with a numerical focus
- Minimum 3 years relevant professional experience of corporate financial analysis. Knowledge within the energy, commodities and/or large corporate sector is an advantage
- A combination of accounting, analytical, modelling, communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
- Proficiency in English and Finnish (written and verbal)
