Join us as a Customer Service Officer in Premier Banking

  • We’ll look to you to deliver excellent service to our customers, keeping their needs and financial goals in mind at all times
  • You’ll be educating customers in the different ways they can do their banking and supporting them in choosing the options that work best for them
  • We’re looking for a detail-orientated person to complete processes and procedures, while providing each customer with a seamless experience

What you’ll doIn this role, you’ll conduct financial reviews with customers and provide them with accurate information, allowing them to make informed decisions on financial products and services. You’ll hone your organisational skills as you manage your diary and balance proactive conversations with planned customer meetings.Your duties will include:

  • Supporting the bank’s way of working to help as many customers as possible
  • Managing customer contact lists to identify opportunities to help customers with new financial services or products
  • Maintaining relationships with colleagues in your department to support customers and maintain an awareness of the wider aims of the business
  • Identifying complaints and errors quickly and making sure that the relationship with the customer is fully restored

The skills you’ll needTo join us in this role, you’ll have experience of working in a customer service environment and managing relationships with customers. You’ll enjoy applying your excellent organisational and time management skills to meet performance measures and customer needs.We’re also looking for you to demonstrate:

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • A background of working within a regulatory environment
  • Good technology skills with the ability to use Microsoft Office

Working hereWe’re here for our customers, whatever the time of day or night, so you’ll need to be flexible and commit to working a rotating shift patternYou’ll work 35 hours over 5 days between the hours of 7.00am and 9.00pm, this will include 3 weekend shifts, a Saturday or Sunday in a 12 week period. We’ll discuss your hours in more detail at your interviewUpon completing your 6 month probation, you’ll be required to work 1 day a week in the officeYou’ll enjoy a comprehensive training programme, and on-going coaching and support to enhance your development.
