We are seeking a candidate for a permanent position. As the Dairy Ingredient manager you will shape the new dedicated European Dairy Ingredient Team, you will support our biosolutions (cultures, enzymes) at customers and in our facilities as well as the development of new ones for Dairy Ingredients used for instance in Infant Milk Formula or Sport nutrition.Welcome to the Applied R&D Cheese, Phage & Dairy Ingredient TeamYou will be part of a department of 60 competent and passionate colleagues of scientists and laboratory technicians. Dairy is at the core of our strategy. The department plays a critical role creating value for customers by combining the best enzymes, the best cultures and the appropriate Customer Dairy process adjustments.In this role you’ll make an impact by:
- Managing and shaping the new Team
- Formulating strategies for the future in relation to your focus area
- Interacting with Sales teams
- Providing the technical support (sales and customers) for Dairy Ingredients
- Creating the design of experiment for the lab experiment
- Collaborating closely with Global Marketing & Business Development to develop, document existing concepts/solutions on the technical side
- Leading a global cross-functional Competence Network
Potentially relevant experience:
- MSc or PhD degree with experience in Dairy Ingredients
- Leadership experience
- Entrepreneurial mindset
- Available to visit customers and external partners
- Enjoy working as a part of a collaborative team and possess strong collaboration and communication skills
- Innovative and solution-oriented mindset
- Possess excellent experimental planning and data analysis skills, and be curious about developments in digitalization
- Speak and write English fluently
