We are looking for a Dam Safety Expert for our Environmental Department. You can be an experienced dam safety professional or a geotechnical specialist at the beginning of your career. Read more and apply!Boliden Kokkola is seeking aDam Safety Expert / Geotechnical SpecialistAs a Dam Safety Expert, you will build and maintain a dam safety management system in accordance with the GISTM standard. Your tasks will include drafting and updating dam safety documents, maintaining the dam safety system according to the GISTM standard, and coordinating the planning and monitoring of the dam area.We are looking for a team player with a systematic, active, and goal-oriented work approach and good collaboration skills. You have a desire to continuously develop your area of responsibility and drive initiatives forward.Who will you be working with?You will be part of the environmental team, where everyone utilizes their strengths in handling diverse tasks. You will work closely with Boliden Kokkola’s experts, dam area contractors, and external consultants. Your workplace will be at the Kokkola zinc plant, but remote work is also possible.You will receive full support from your supervisor for both your work and professional development. You’ll also have the backing of Boliden’s extensive network of dam safety experts in Finland and internationally.What do we expect from you?

• A higher education degree in infrastructure (geotechnics, environmental engineering, civil engineering, or a related field) or another suitable field
• Experience working in infrastructure construction
• Proficiency in oral and written English
• A category B driving license

• Experience working with dam construction, tailing areas, or disposal areas is considered an advantage
