Join the automation team at B&R- a member of the ABB Group.This position reports toHead of Global SourcingYour role and responsibilitiesAs a Data Analyst, you will analyze and interpret complex data in the areas of procurement, inventory, costs, and sustainability. You will create meaningful reports, drive the standardization and digitalization of reporting, and support strategic purchasing decisions with sound analyses. Additionally, you will actively participate in projects and market observation. • Data Analysis: Collect, analyze, and continuously monitor relevant data. Focus areas are supply, inventory, costs, sustainability. • Reporting & Project Support: Prepare, visualize, and communicate reports. Identify improvement levers in focus areas. Represent Global Sourcing in various projects as technical data expert. Consolidate and provide data in requested format and structure. • Standardization & Digitalization: Develop standardized reports and user-friendly dashboards as a single point of truth. • Support of Strategic Sourcing and Target Setting: Provide data and further develop KPIs for proper target setting in the organization, contribute to commodity strategies, and conduct global market and trend analyses.Qualifications for the role

• Completed higher commercial/technical education (e.g. industrial engineering, business informatics, data science, statistics or similar)
• Several years of relevant expertise in international purchasing and/or supply chain management.
• Possess a solid foundation in statistics and practical experience with statistical software, expert knowledge of MS Office applications and SAP module MM, Power BI.
• Exhibit exceptional analytical abilities to compile, structure, examine, and present substantial data sets with precision and thoroughness.
• Capable of critically evaluating data to derive meaningful, actionable insights.
• Demonstrate superior communication and presentation capabilities, adept at simplifying complex data insights for audiences without a technical background.
• Strong collaborative mind-set
• Fluent in German and English.
• Passion for data analysis.
