We are a team with highly engaged and skillful data and analytics professionals, and we are now looking for a Data Analyst, who will report to me, Magnus Klint, Head of Customer Insight Analytics.About the jobAs a Data Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in driving initiatives within the area of data and analytics, like value driven analytical use cases, usage of new technical capabilities, and more. SEB is committed to accelerating its data and analytics journey, underscoring the imperative to mobilize and bolster expertise and execution capabilities.Your primary focus will be around deepening our understanding of customer behavior, needs, and preferences. This entails identifying, analyzing, exploring, and interpreting trends and patterns within complex datasets through detailed data-driven analyses. Also, you will actively support internal stakeholders by proactively uncovering potential opportunities across various areas.Further, you will be part of a center of analytical excellence dedicated to identifying business opportunities, exploring customer segments, product categories, and distribution channels, fostering a more data-centric and customer-focused way of working.You’ll also be important in building the new cloud-based data- and analytics platform, shaping our future environment aligning with SEB: s long-term strategic direction. That includes futureproofing of tools and data, but also a new way of working and ensuring competence needed.The position is in Arenastaden, Solna.To thrive in this role, we believe you have:We are seeking individuals who hold an enthusiasm for data, business acumen, and adaptability in dynamic environments. We encourage proactive engagement, both presently and with a forward-thinking mindset.Ideal candidates will hold an academic degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Business Economics, or a related discipline, coupled with a couple of years of hands-on experience in quantitative analytics. Proficiency in cloud-based environments, particularly Google Cloud Platform (GCP), with a focus on data and analysis, is highly desirable. Additionally, familiarity with programming languages such as Python, R, and SQL for data analysis is advantageous. The role also requires prior experience with data visualization tools, such as Looker or Tableau. Experience from Financial services is merited.The ability to effectively communicate and present findings to stakeholders is of great importance. You have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Swedish. Strong interpersonal skills are key for collaborating within our cross-functional teams and engaging with stakeholders.
