Our scalable infrastructure delivers the application service requirements at the optimum efficiency and lowest cost throughout the life cycle of the data centre.As a result of the business growth, we have a new exciting opportunity for a Segment Business Development and Customer Solutions Data Centre EMEA Lead.What you’ll do:In this unique role, you will be responsible for driving growth techno-commercially and meeting the sales and pipeline objectives. You will have a specific focus and responsibility for xModular solution and program and the continued development of Eaton MV solutions revenue in the Datacentre segment. You will collaborate closely with Key Account, CSOs, segment teams & operations to develop and execute profit plans aimed at achieving specific sales milestones. You will be tasked with identifying and capitalizing on profitable business opportunities while driving market expansion efforts by managing the business development managers and front-end application team (6 people in total).This is a fully remote role and can be based anywhere in : Ireland, UK, Germany, Netherlands , Sweden or Norway. Extensive travel within Europe will be required.Responsibilties:Drive the business unit’s growth targets and implementing the segment strategyLeading a team of 6 Application Engineers and Business DevelopersAlign EMEA segment strategies within the global segment strategies by actively representing the business unit in working groups with Electrical Sector managementCollaborate with the KAM, CSO and segment teams to develop and execute the profit plan, providing technical and commercial insights and application requirementsLead marketing initiatives and guide segment sales and CSOs to drive market expansionCultivate relationships with customers, suppliers, distributors, partners, and vendorsDrive tendering business by offering system design assistance and application supportAssist in optimizing customer designs through product selection, layouts, comparisons, and system configurationsContribute to marketing activities including material development, communication, and participation in trade showsCultivate new customer relationships and nurture existing ones to maintain a robust pipeline of opportunitiesQualifications:Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering is a mustExtensive experience of Sales in the data centre industry directly with data centre owner / operators and associated contractorsExperience in Electrical Infrastructure design for critical systems including data centre designExperience with Medium Voltage industry ideally familiar with Eaton Modular productsSkills:

• Strong and effective communication skills, fluent in English
• Leadership skills with ability to build collaborative relationships with customers, colleagues and other stakeholders
