We want to hear from you!We are now looking for two Data engineers to our Product & Data team at IMC IKEA Marketing & Communication Team in Älmhult. Do you want to join us? Job descriptionAs a Data Engineer, you will be an important part of a cross-functional product team, that will be designing, building, and maintaining the infrastructure and systems that allow data to be collected, processed, and analyzed efficiently. You will help ensure that data pipelines are scalable, reliable, and able to handle large volumes of data. Your work will help productionize analytical features and insights by creating reusable data essential for making operational and strategic data-driven decisions.You will:
- Data Pipeline Development: Design, construct, install, test, and maintain highly scalable data pipelines for big data analytics.
- ETL Processes: Develop and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to support data integration and transformation.
- Database Management: Implement and manage databases, data warehouses, and data lakes, ensuring data integrity and accessibility.
- Data Modeling: Design data models to support business intelligence, analytics, and reporting needs.
- Performance Optimization: Optimize the performance of data processing systems and troubleshoot any issues.
- Collaboration: Work with data scientists, data analysts, digital product teams, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
About YouWe believe you are a tech-savvy, problem solver with a passion for data, who enjoys a mix of team collaboration and individual work. You should have experience in building and maintain data pipelines, and be curious and forward-thinking, like to explore new technologies and methodologies to optimize data handling processes and keep systems future-ready. QualificationYou have a comprehensive experience and understanding with data pipelines, data warehousing and big data processing. You have a high competence in appropriate set of languages, technologies, and frameworks and with data modelling techniques and concepts. You also need:
- Bachelor/master’s degree in engineering, computer science, information systems, mathematics or equivalent, experience in digital marketing is a plus
- Experience working in equal or comparable position for at least 3 years
- Coding knowledge and experience from agile way of working
- Excellent in programming, preferably in several programming languages: such as C#, Python, or SQL.
- Cloud Platforms: Experience with cloud services such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform.
- Understanding of data modeling concepts and tools (such as Databricks, Azure Data Factory, SQL)
- Strong analytical skills and ability to troubleshoot data-related issues.
