As a Database Administrator, you’ll join a collaborative and forward-thinking team based in Copenaghen. ogether, we ensure the performance, security, and availability of mission-critical databases that power Nexi’s payment services across Europe.About Your Future Role
In this position, you will:
- Interact with senior staff and management to define use cases and technical requirements
- Maintain and document database structures
- Interface directly with software developers
- Create and maintain stored procedures
- Support development and validate database structure updates
- Deliver and manage database updates across environments
- Collaborate within a cross-functional, bilingual team (IT/EN)
What Makes You a Great Fit
We’re looking for someone eager to make a difference. Here’s what we value:Essential Qualifications:
- At least 4 years of experience in database administration
- Deep expertise in Oracle (12c to 19c), MySQL, and PostgreSQL
- Experience with Oracle RAC, Multitenant, and Transparent Data Encryption
- Good skills in system tuning, backup and restore management
- Experience with Oracle GoldenGate and database version upgrades
- Good knowledge of Linux OS in the context of database management
- Availability to work extra hours (evenings/weekends) when required
- Strong problem-solving attitude and curiosity
- Excellent communication skills, capable of simplifying technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
Bonus Skills:
- Experience working with Cloud platforms
- Familiarity with Agile and Lean methodologies
