We are currently seeking an experience Design Manager who has solid experience with a main contractor to join out client’s team!Design Manager
Hull – Office based
£45,000 to £50,000 + car allowance
PermanentWe are currently looking for a Design Manager with experience with a main contractor to join our Hull based client. What will the Design Manager be doing?

• Manage all aspects of design production including technical evaluations during tender phase
• Reviewing design submissions. Communicating with design consultants and company’s in house teams
• Liaise with building controls, local planning authorities and principal design consultants where required
• Attend meetings with project teams
• Ensuring all design checks are undertaken, recorded and that all designs ae compliant with the relevant standards
• Attending site as and when required to assist with surveys and site meetings

• Must have previous experience with a main contractor in construction or modular builds
• Confident IT Skills including Outlook, Word, Excel, AutoCAD and Revit
• Comprehensive site experience in construction, engineering or professional design role
• Well developed technical construction knowledge
• Good understanding of Building Regulation, BREEAM and BIM Level 2 standards
• Full UK Driving License
