Sony Semiconductor Solutions Europe Design Centre is seeking a dedicated Design Project Manager to lead and supervise semiconductor design projects from conceptualisation to completion to ensure that the project is completed on time and with allocated resources, to a high-quality standard.The candidate will work in close cooperation with the technical leads and design managers responsible for individual projects and act as a point of liaison between the project team and senior management, collaborating with multi-functional and multicultural teams across Europe and Japan.You will play a key role in driving innovation and excellence in CMOS image sensor design.You will:

  • Develop and lead project schedules, identifying blockers, dependencies and milestones.
  • Coordinate cross-project communication and ensure the timely execution of every step.
  • Lead regular project meetings, monitor progress, and provide updates to partners and team members.
  • Implement preventive measures to avoid project derailment and establish recovery strategies.
  • Maintain project workflows, methodologies, and documentation.
  • Allocate resources effectively, considering business priorities.

You will bring:

  • Solid track record in technical project management or technical leadership in a fast-paced engineering environment.
  • Experience in Semiconductor or CMOS image sensors, optics, camera systems, and hardware/software integration. Knowledge of Functional Safety (ISO26262, ASPICE) is a plus.
  • Passion for driving continuous improvements in flows, communication, and organisation.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and organisational skills. Crisis management and a passion for continuous improvement are essential.
  • Strong desire to own/drive project development using well-defined metrics & methodologies
  • Relevant technical qualifications or equivalent experience.
