Job description

The Engineering department is looking for a full-time Civil/Mechanical Structural Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing engineering design.If you are a Structural Engineer with passion for designing, we recommend you apply for this job. Key tasks and responsibilities:

  • Responsible for design activities: design calculations, specifications, reports, and various 3rd party submissions.
  • Providing expertise in structural engineering
  • Producing structural designs and analysis reports.
  • Participating in design reviews with interdisciplinary teams
  • Reviewing and approving analysis reports and calculations
  • Ensuring the quality and accuracy of the structural analysis deliverables
  • Design development of products and sub products

Qualifications and personal skills:

  • Graduated with a M.Sc. Civil/Mechanical (Structural) Engineering
  • Competency in Steel structure design, it is a key factor.
  • Competency in design and analysis software for FEA
  • Experience with Ansys Workbench is required (

1Year), it is a key factor. * Experience in Beam Elements

  • Experience with 3D modelling, CAD software (Inventor, or others)
  • Good knowledge of Steel/aluminium design codes
  • Creativity/dynamic in problem-solving, it is a key factor
  • Good knowledge of written and spoken English (Norwegian and/or Portuguese is a plus)
