Are you ready to jump onboard?We are always on the lookout for a talent with a growth mindset – are you the one?We are looking for a Development Engineer with a main responsibility to lead, execute and implement your development projects and method development tasks with your own team and named delivery & assembly teams and needed stakeholders. The preferred location for this position is Vaasa, Finland. Other locations cannot be consideredYour role and responsibilities:As a Development Engineer your work will include developing continuously STH production environment including facilities, methods, processes & way of working. The tasks can also be adjusted based on your individual skills and interests. You’ll be working as a part of Delivery Centre Sustainable Technology Hub, Product Delivery organisation (DC STH PD) as a part of dynamic Development team with diverse expertise.Your work will focus on these responsibilities:
- Lead and execute development projects by planning, implementing, and continuously improving product development models and ways of working in collaboration with teams and stakeholders.
- Utilize development tools and methodologies such as PFMEA, problem-solving techniques, time studies, and LEAN methods to enhance production processes.
- Coordinate and communicate with key stakeholders both internally and externally, ensuring smooth project execution in both Finnish and English.
- Build strong development capabilities by fostering continuous improvement in production environments, methods, and organizational know-how.
To be able to succeed in the position, we expect you to have:
- BSc. or MSc. in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or similar
- DC STH Product portfolio manufacturing development experience
- DC STH Manufacturing ecosystem know how
- Experience of MS Office tools, Siemens NX and Teamcenter
- Fluent spoken and written Finnish and English
