We are located in Gothenburg and Stockholm.As a Development Lead Engineer – Commercial Vehicles, you will have the following responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and validation of vehicle systems and components.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success from concept to production.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Manage supplier relationships and oversee the integration of new technologies.
• Analyze and troubleshoot technical challenges, providing innovative solutions.
• Optimize performance, efficiency, and durability of commercial vehicle systems.
• Drive continuous improvement in product development and engineering processes.
• Maintain documentation and support testing activities.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends.

Key skills and qualifications:

• Minimum 4 years of experience in the technical field, specifically in commercial vehicle development.
• Mandatory minimun 4 years experience from heavy duty commercial vehicles.
• Strong understanding of vehicle systems, including powertrain, chassis, or electrical components.
• Expertise in mechanical design, simulation, and validation processes.
• Hands-on experience with CAD software (e.g., CATIA, SolidWorks, or similar).
• Knowledge of automotive standards and regulations.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams, including design, testing, and production.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
• Experience in supplier management and technical negotiations.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on innovation.
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate across departments.
