Job Description:Foundational Technology Development Europe Turkey Simulation is a Software R&D Group in Ankara. This group brings together the fields of utility network planning, simulation, analysis and network model management with the PSS® Product Suite (PSS® power system simulation and modeling software). Grid Simulations a focus area which mainly employ new ways throughout the different fields of application in order to build proficient software solutions and products. To accomplish the mission of the group, the candidate will perform Devops and Cloud Quality Architect.We are the catalyst for the industrial world’s digital transformation.For more than 35 years, ground breaking technologies and business models engineered and developed by Siemens Turkey R&D department contributes to the global success of Siemens.Our R&D activities focused on the fields of electrification, automation and digitalization, provides end-to-end support to our global customers on their unique digital transformation journey.We aim to increase our strength on solution and product development with world class SW development experts, with the vision to be the digitalization partner for our global customers.We need game changers like you, to bring the next level of smart manufacturing and infrastructure from mere concept to reality, develop tomorrow’s smart cities, and address the most critical digitalization challenges across a comprehensive range of industries.We are seeking an experienced software development engineer to develop software solutions.What are my responsibilities?Your tasks include conceptualization, implementation and operation of an DevOps oriented release process and effective build and release automation, including test automation infrastructure. You will closely work with architecture and infrastructure for cloud-based applications in an innovation project.You will be at the center of varied tasks to implement scalable cloud architectures and on-premise environments.You actively participate in knowledge transfer within and outside the young, dynamic team and provide guidance and coaching for all DevOps related topics in the complete software lifecycle.You will work closely with all stakeholders such as developers, architects, Product Owners/Managers, Test Managers, Infrastructure and Operation teams, and Release Train Engineer (SAFe role) to communicate all aspects of testability and other quality attributes.You will define and maintain an effective and efficient test architecture and test infrastructure in close collaboration with infrastructure teams and test managers.To this end, you will provide technical input for risk assessment and management, making maximum use of the Jira ALM Suite.You will also support system and software architects as well as project team members in all quality related aspects, such as design for testability, specification and breakdown of quality requirements and definition of non-functional requirements..What do I need to qualify for this job?Required Qualifications:

• B.S. and/or M.S. degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering (or similar fields),
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in complex software development projects,
• You have extensive experience in technologies for cloud-based software products, including the associated CI/CD tools such as GitLab, Container Technologies, Jira/Xray and respective testing methods.
• You bring basic experience in release and test management, especially test-first approach (Shift Left, Behavior/Test Driven Development, E2E Workflow Test, etc.) to incorporate it into the build and release automation.
• You are experienced in the selection of appropriate test techniques, test tools and corresponding guidelines as well as in the estimation of test efforts, so you can provide guidance and framework evaluation.
• Agile software development processes (e.g. SAFe, SCRUM) are familiar to you.
• You have in-depth knowledge of common programming languages and methodologies and are proficient in Infrastructure As Code (e.g. JavaScript, Python, Go, Helm, Terraform) as well as cloud technologies of various hyperscalers (AWS, Azure) and frameworks (e.g. AWS, Redis, PostgreSQL, .NET Core).
• You have several years of experience in software architecture or cloud infrastructure and are familiar with microservice architectures, Kubernetes, Kafka, Rest and Async APIs.
• You have in depth knowledge of cloud related NFRs for critical infrastructure and how they can be validated for a given architecture.
• You convince with your communication skills and are able to present complex topics in a simple and consistent way.
• You can represent test and release concepts strategically and technically and communicate with both management and development teams at eye level.

• Fluent command of English is a must, German is a plus.
• No restrictions for travelling abroad temporarily.
