That’s why we want you to join us on this exciting journey and unlock your full potential with the FireStart team!Your OpportunityWe are looking for a DevOps Engineer (f/m/d).You will be part of our team that is developing our state-of-the-art BPM SaaS product.Your Responsibilities

• Own and manage the deployment and the operations of our SaaS product.
• Build and maintain GitOps workflows for streamlined deployment and infrastructure-as-code processes
• Operate observability tools like Prometheus for monitoring and alerting
• Manage and support data infrastructure, including OpenSearch, Kafka, and MongoDB, ensuring high availability and scalability
• Collaborate with development teams and external partners
• Take full ownership of system reliability, security, and deployment processes
• Work and learn within an agile team setting.

Your Background

• Profound completed education in the field of IT/software development or similar
• Minimum experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or a related field with a focus on Kubernetes and Helm: 3 years.
• Hands-on experience managing distributed systems like OpenSearch, Kafka, and MongoDB in production environments
• Strong expertise in GitOps and Infrastructure as Code practices and tools
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools, particularly Prometheus
• Strong understanding of CI/CD processes and tools like GitLab
• Familiarity with software development practices and version control systems like Git
• Experience with on-call rotations, including troubleshooting and resolving critical issues under pressure, and readiness to participate in on-call support as needed
• High level of independence and good self-organization.
• Good problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
• Excellent communication skills in English, and optionally German
