Job Title – Digital Finance Business Analyst
Location: Manchester

And that’s the kind of work we want to be part of.Role PurposeThe Digital Finance Business Analyst supports the development & delivery of data and analytics products in the Digital Finance team within FP&A. This role is pivotal in driving and supporting the digitalization of the Finance function. The ideal candidate will have a good background in finance and hands-on experience with the Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate).This hybrid role bridges the gap between finance, business operations, and digital transformation. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for data analysis, process optimization, and digital solution design to enhance business decision-making and drive efficiencyKey Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with finance and business collaborators to gather, analyze, and document requirements.
• Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI that deliver meaningful insights and support strategic decision-making.
• Build and maintain Power Apps for internal business solutions, ensuring seamless user experience and alignment with business needs.
• Automate repetitive business processes using Power Automate, enhancing operational efficiency.
• Translate complex financial data into accessible reports for non-financial collaborators.
• Conduct gap analyses and suggest data-driven solutions to improve processes and critical metrics.

Key Requirements:

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Power BI – including DAX, data modeling, and report publishing.
• Hands-on experience with Power Apps and Power Automate for app development and process automation.
• Solid understanding of financial principles, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills to translate technical concepts for business users.
• Experience with SQL, Excel (advanced), and other data tools is a plus.
