For more information, please visit .We are now strengthening our Product Development functions Systems Engineering team and we are therefore looking for aDirector, Systems Engineeringto take part in leading our company’s systems engineering in Hämeenlinna!This role involves managing teams of System Engineering Managers, ownership of the SE processes and practicalities, taking part to customer stakeholder negotiations, requirement management of complex systems, encompassing a wide range of engineering disciplines, and focusing on development of compliant systems-of-systems that meet user needs while considering functionality, safety, reliability and maintainability. Director, Systems Engineering Management will be reporting to VP, Product Management.Main responsibilities:

• Development and implementation of systems engineering practices across vehicle programs
• Management of system requirements, interfaces, and architecture alignment
• Support for configuration management, traceability and engineering change control
• Coordination of system-level verification and validation activities
• Facilitation of cross-functional engineering integration across domains and lifecycle phases
• Department resourcing, performance and Engineering effort comprehensive planning.
• Consistency and quality of systems engineering deliverables and processes
• Fulfillment of customer and program-level system requirements and verification
• Alignment of systems engineering practices with product and platform development goals

What we are looking for:We are looking for an experienced systems engineering expert with a strong background in systems engineering and managing teams of technical professionals, including managers. You have an analytical and systematic approach and ability to develop processes, quality, people and business. You have prior experience of working in an international environment, especially in project business and possess strong skills in systems engineering, leadership and process development.Key competencies and requirements:

• At least 5 years’ experience in systems engineering and leading teams in a complex project business environment
• Several years’ experience in process development and system requirement management
• Ability to produce and make decisions using data
• Analytical and systematic working approach
• Excellent communication skills and ability to interact well both externally and internally
• Willingness to travel based on business case needs
• Master’s degree or similar in a relevant field
• Fluent in Finnish and in English, other language skills as plus
