Today, Pairsoft operates globally, with teams in the United States, the Netherlands, India, Poland, and Finland.The RoleWe are looking for a Director or Vice President of Product Development to lead Pairsoft’s global R&D organization. This is a new strategic leadership position reporting directly to the Chief Product Officer. You will have full ownership of our product development function, spanning all software brands and technology stacks, with a key focus on AI transformation, standardizing global operations, and delivering product roadmaps in alignment with company strategy.This role is based in Finland and fully remote. No office presence is required.Your Responsibilities

• Lead the global R&D organization (60+ people) across India, Poland, the U.S., and the Netherlands
• Manage and coach site leaders and team leads; ensure consistent operations across all locations
• Oversee development across two major technology stacks (Microsoft and Java-based)
• Own the delivery of product roadmaps in collaboration with Product Management
• Standardize ways of working, introduce shared KPIs, and structure operations to enable measurable performance and scalability
• Lead the AI transformation of the R&D function to make Pairsoft a truly AI-native software company
• Manage budget allocation and ownership of third-party tools used across development
• Drive the long-term technology vision and strategy together with the enterprise architecture team
• Travel occasionally to team locations (1-2 times per year to India, every 2-3 months to the Netherlands, and as needed globally)

What We’re Looking ForMust-have:

• Proven experience leading a global R&D or product development organization
• Experience with B2B software product development; experience in financial technology is a plus
• Understanding of AI trends and a track record in leading transformational change
• Ability to manage distributed, multicultural teams and unify operational models
• Familiarity with metrics-driven leadership and data-informed decision-making
• Comfortable working in a high-performance, private-equity-backed environment with profitability focus
• Fluent in English

Nice to have:

• Experience working with either Microsoft- or Java- technology stack
• Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, Oracle Cloud)
• Familiarity with AI-based developer tools or related technologies
• Experience with intellectual property (e.g., software patents)
• Background in enterprise software that integrates with ERP or CRM systems

Education:
Relevant higher education (technical preferred), but demonstrable experience is more important than degrees.What We Offer
