Job description

We are looking for a Disaster Recovery Solution Architect.As a Disaster Recovery Solution Architect, you will play a pivotal role both within the core IT Infrastructure team and in a collaborative virtual team with other colleagues across the organization. You will be crucial in advancing our disaster recovery capabilities, ensuring our critical systems are resilient, recoverable, and aligned with business continuity strategies.
We highly value a robust understanding of both business needs and technical resilience. You should be technically skilled, proactive in planning for the unexpected, and an excellent communicator of complex technical ideas. English skills are essential, and proficiency in Swedish is a plus.

– You possess a solid understanding of principles and technologies involved in creating DR strategies for both cloud services (AWS, Azure) and on-premises infrastructure.
– You are adept at making critical decisions under pressure and know how to engage necessary stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency.
– You excel at conducting risk assessments, developing recovery strategies, and implementing robust, tested DR solutions.
– Collaboration is one of your strengths; you thrive working with cross-functional teams – including Infrastructure, Cloud, Security, and Application teams – to design and validate recovery plans.
– You are dedicated to conducting disaster recovery testing, failover simulations, and continuous improvement to safeguard the organization against downtime and data loss.
– You have several years of experience in infrastructure architecture including hybrid cloud backup environments.
– You have experience of technologies for concepts of Immutable backups, Ransomware safe backups and S3 hybrid backup storage.
