Then this position could be of interest for you!Disease Area ManagerWe are now looking for a Disease Area Manager to join our dedicated Commercial Excellence team in a role focused on High Medical Value Solutions (HMVS), our portfolio of especially innovative tests, systems and digital solutions that enable better decisions by clinicians and patients (learn more about our solutions ).As a Disease Area Manager at Roche Diagnostics, you have the ability to influence your own development and you get the opportunity to identify customer development opportunities, help improve and optimize healthcare resource use, and deliver and implement the best possible solutions within High Medical Value Solutions.The Disease Area Manager’s main purpose is to create better health outcomes by:1. Identifying and addressing unmet medical needs that can be solved with Roche HMVS and disease management solutions.2. Drive stakeholder advocacy and clinical demand for, as well as commercial implementation of, innovative HMVS.3.Collaborating with healthcare professionals, healthcare system decision makers, and other stakeholders, to co-create opportunities for increased access to Roche HMVSs and improved patient journey.Key Job Responsibilities:Commercial disease area strategy::Gather and analyze comprehensive data on disease management, patient journeys, healthcare needs, competitive landscape, and Roche’s positioning.Develop and refine disease area strategies through collaboration with internal and external stakeholders based on gathered insights.Regularly update disease area strategies to adapt to evolving external and internal environments.Translate strategies into actionable plans and execution.Ensuring early implementation and drive clinical demand:Monitor Roche’s development pipeline of HMVSs.Develop and execute clinical go-to-market strategies for prioritized HMVS, in alignment with applicable Business Segment strategies.Drive awareness and understanding of high medical value solutions among clinical decision makers to increase the addressable market for HMVSsExternal stakeholder engagement and commercial excellence:Purposeful engagement with clinical key opinion leaders (KOLs), expert groups, healthcare providers, policy makers and other stakeholders beyond the lab to drive clinical demand.Identify and execute partnership opportunities with customers and third parties including Pharma companies to drive clinical demand for Roche HMVS, in line with Roche goals and relevant Business Segment strategiesSupport and coach internal teams in understanding and implementing disease area strategies and prioritized HMVSs.Lead commercial initiatives within the disease area, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and maximizing value capture.Your contributionYour focus is to define commercial Disease Area strategies for Sweden and drive sales and marketing activities for our High Medical Value Solutions across our key disease areas Cardiometabolic, Neurology, Oncology and Infectious Diseases. Key initial focus areas for the Disease Area Manager role will include driving commercial implementation of the Cardiometabolic strategy, including NT-proBNP in Type 2 Diabetes and STRONG-HF.You have a commercial acumen, deep understanding of medical science and clinical healthcare practice as well as extensive experience of clinical key opinion leader engagement. You have a growth mindset and willingness to develop a strategic approach to stakeholder management. You are furthermore comfortable interacting with senior levels within healthcare departments and you have an in-depth understanding of High Medical Value Solutions.You have strong leadership abilities with a focus on strategic planning and execution. Have the ability to navigate and work within a changing organization, maintaining objectivity, respect for differences of opinion, fairness, and open communication and feedback. You are very independent in your work and like to take initiative. It is also important that you are a team player that likes to contribute to the group and collaborate towards common goals.QualificationsUniversity degree in a relevant field (e.g., medical, pharmaceutical, life sciences) – PhD strongly preferredProficient in Swedish and EnglishSales experience within Swedish HealthcareStrong understanding of the value that HMVS provide for the healthcare system and more personalized clinical decisionsSolid understanding of the healthcare system, including decision-making processes at regional and national levelsExperience in managing relationships with KOLs, clinicians, and other healthcare professionalsIn-depth knowledge of Roche’s offerings of HMVSsStrong financial acumen and project management skillsFamiliarity with common sales methodologies and experience in applying them effectivelyNo restriction for travelingLocated in the Stockholm areaWho we areAt Roche, more than 100,000 people across 100 countries are pushing back the frontiers of healthcare.
