About the roleAs an Embedded Software Developer, you will be part of a team developing and improving our advanced patient-simulator products. The simulators are closely related to humanoid robots, and are crammed with sensors and actuators that mimic human behavior and physiological responses such as breathing, blinking, moving, talking and much more.You will work in a vibrant cross-functional team and collaborate closely with fellow embedded software engineers as well as mechanical and electronics engineers, designers, and product managers. You will have access to a well-equipped electronics lab, mechanical tool shops, 3D-printers, a laser cutter and a test center. Some of what you will be doingDesign, implement and maintain embedded software for our physical productsActively use and help improve established development processes, tools, and best practicesParticipate in iterative, multidisciplinary product development activities, such as:Prototyping and early conceptsRequirements and specificationsDetailed design and architectureVerification and testingTroubleshooting and root cause analysis Who we envision would fit the roleYou are a talented and passionate Embedded Software Developer who is eager to explore new technologies and ideas. You are used to working across disciplines and have good communication and interpersonal skills.
