We are now looking for a Supply Chain Director to lead the strategic supply chain work across the SMCA (Small and Medium Caliber Ammunition) and LCS (Large Caliber Systems) Business Units! This is a newly established role, and you will play a key part in driving operational excellence and securing the foundation for business growth within Nammo.If you are ready to take the next step in your career and want to contribute to enhanced collaboration across sites and business units, this could be your opportunity. The roleAs Supply Chain Director at the business unit level, you will be responsible for developing and executing long-term supply chain strategies, strengthening supplier partnerships, and ensuring operational alignment across multiple sites. You will drive synergies with other Business Units and contribute to company-wide initiatives in close collaboration with the Corporate Supply Chain management. Your role will include:Developing and implementing the BU’s supply chain strategy in alignment with corporate policies and business goalsSecure strategic supplier relationships and qualification, while site teams handle daily executionDriving cross-BU collaboration to share best practices, optimize supplier agreements, and standardize operationsSupporting new product launches and ensuring scalability, resilience, and cost efficiency in the supply chainMonitoring Supply chain KPIs, managing risks, and leading cost-reduction and process-improvement initiativesReporting strategic supply chain performance to business and corporate leadershipYou will be functionally aligned with the Corporate VP of Supply Chain, and report to the VP Programs & Products SMCA (solid line) and VP Strategy and Programs LCS.**Who are you?**We are looking for an experienced supply chain leader with the ability to work across organizational boundaries and balance strategic thinking with execution excellence. You should be comfortable working in a matrix organization and have a strong drive to influence and deliver results in a multinational context.The requirements we are looking for are:Proven leadership experience in supply chain management at a strategic levelStrong understanding of supplier development, contract management, and cross-site coordinationExperience working in an international manufacturing or defence-related environmentExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsSolid background in operations, procurement or logisticsProficiency in English, both spoken and writtenExperience in working with supply chain risk management, cost optimization, and product development support will be considered an advantage.The role is a full-time, onsite position at one of Nammo’s operational locations. Travel is frequent, both nationally and internationally.
