What we can offer youIf we look beyond the fact that you would get to work with some of the greatest minds in our industry, extraordinary people from all over the world, here’s some of the things you can expect as a Structural Engineer in Ocean Installer:

• Perform structural engineering and design to seafastening design, design of design of installation aids, subsea permanent structure
• Produce structural engineering reports and drawings for fabrication and design items
• Provide technical input into vessel design; e.g. deck strength & capacity
• Follow up subcontractors for fabrication of equipment and installation aids
• Provide input to dynamic installation analysis as required
• Attend vessel mobilisations and/or offshore trips when required
• Mentor junior colleagues

This means that we need to find the people that complement our existing colleagues, and someone that meet the requirements within our projects. So, if you do possess some of these qualities, we could be a perfect match:

• 5-10yrs, experience at senior/principal level
• SURF / Marine Operations is essential
• Experience with seafastening & installation aids design is essential
• Experience with relevant standards, codes and class requirements is required
• Good knowledge of relevant material, fabrication, welding and testing requirements
• Ability to step into a “Package Lead” role, with a strong track record of managing and following up subcontractors delivering engineering services
• Capable of supporting fast pace tender activities with rational approach using previous experiences
