Read on to find out what part you could play in our story.We’re looking for a Driver Academy Manager to join Oda!As the Driver Academy Manager you are involved in coordinating, managing, and enhancing the onboarding and driver training program, ensuring drivers possess the necessary skills. It includes proactive collaboration with various stakeholders to improve training and delivery processes and continuous advocacy for delivery operations improvement. We use Slack to stay in the loop – less email, fewer meetings, more getting things done.A buzzing office at Tøyen, with lunch made by our very own chefs. 🧑‍🍳A collaborative approach – we tackle exciting tech and product challenges together, across different fields.A chance to shape the future of grocery shopping while building a company that’s here to stay.What you’ll be doing as Driver Academy ManagerCoordinate, manage, and improve our existing onboarding and driver training program.Proactively identify and improve training and delivery processes. * Take full responsibility for planning and executing the onboarding of our new drivers:Arrange weekly theory classesAccess to the Learning management system for the new joinersArrange on-road practical trainingInform all stakeholders to ensure training finishes as plannedCoordinate to arrange building entrance access for the driversAssist in arranging uniforms for the new drivers as required.Arrange access to the tech tools, in use by our drivers, to ensure they start their work without issues. * Continue evolving our training program and onboarding routinesProvide advice, knowledge, and guidance about delivery processes to improve existing training modules in our Learning management system “Axonify”.Improve low-performing areas through standardizationHold workshops with our on-road driver trainers to teach them standard routinesEnsure enough capacity to hold theory classes and on-road practical training as per needs.Ensure that we actively share learning and opinions with the global operations.What you’ll need to succeed 🌟Education in Logistics, Economics, Management, or similar or relevant experience that can compensate for lacking education.Experience working with logistics or passion about continuous improvement processes with a strong interest in last-mile delivery.Experience structured process development and project management.Understanding of dynamics to improve variable delivery costs.Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead and work in a team environment.Speak and write fluently in English and Norwegian.What would be nice to have 💡Being highly structured, ensuring that tasks and projects are completed.Being curious, quick, and a lifelong learner with a growth mindset who enjoys sharing learnings with colleagues.Having a strong sense of ownership of the business.Enjoying working independently while seeing the whole picture.Willingness to visit multiple sites on a weekly basis and to travel abroad a few times a year, e.g. visiting Mathem in Stockholm.A few final wordsAt Oda, you’ll join a passionate, ambitious team working to change the future of grocery shopping.
