Job Category: VIP AJob Description:We seek a Tenure Track Assistant Professor on sizing and operational optimization of multi-technology renewable hybrid power plants. You will perform high-impact research in increasing the value of such a hybrid power plant for uncertain renewable energy driven future power systems. You will need to work closely with industry in multiple national and international research projects. You are also expected to lead and support teaching and supervision activities. You also have the opportunity to impact the global research landscape in this field through interactions with global organisations like IEA.Responsibilities and qualifications
The main purpose of this tenure track assistant professor position is to strengthen our research on optimal design of hybrid power plants and to integrate the research in DTU’s open-source HyDesign tool, as well as other research and teaching activities.You will work on the following tasks:

You must be responsible for the teaching of courses. DTU employs two working languages: Danish and English. You are expected to be fluent in at least one of these languages, and in time are expected to master both.As formal qualification you must hold a PhD degree (or equivalent).You will be assessed against the responsibilities and qualifications stated above and the following general criteria:
Salary and terms of employment
The appointment will be based on the collective agreement with the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations. The allowance will be agreed upon with the relevant union.The position is part of DTU’s Tenure Track program.
