My Client are a leading Engineering Consultancy who are seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to manage and undertake design work and technical project co-ordination in Dublin.
The successful Electrical Engineer will be a part of a busy team providing design and technical services on various project types, including but not limited to Office Block, Healthcare, Education, Historic, Leisure and Residential developments.Responsibilities:

• Design of sustainable, energy efficient and resilient Electrical Services and Installations.
• Express creative ideas through sketching.
• Communicate effectively to build firm working relationships with architects, engineers, clients and contractors.
• Attend stakeholder & site meetings when required.
• Liaising with architects, clients and other stakeholders to set the constraints of the mechanical design and co-ordinate with all other disciplines in terms of the mechanical requirements and the mechanical discipline’s influence on all others.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Degree in Building Services Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 3 – 6 years post-qualification experience, most of which will be in design gained within a consultancy environment.
• Chartered or Progressing to achieve chartership.
• Possess excellent communication skills and capable of transmitting your passion for building services engineering to clients, other professions and the team
• Have a broad experience of the industry, detailed knowledge of the design of building services systems and a keen interest in passive design techniques, sustainable environmental solutions and renewable energy technologies
• Capable of offering informed and intelligent comment on issues related to the creation of sustainable buildings
• Knowledgeable and experienced in using front end design tools such as IES, and are fully CAD and IT literate
• Capable of designing within a Revit environment and a desire to develop these skills
• Successfully designed projects across a range of scales and sectors
