As an Electrical Project Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the success of projects across various sectors. The company fosters a collaborative and supportive work environment, providing ample opportunities for professional growth and development.Electrical Project Engineer Skills:

  • A Level 7/8 qualification in Electrical Engineering/Electrical Services Engineering or Building Services Engineering
  • Over 3 years of experience in a related industry.
  • Proficient IT skills, especially in AutoCAD, Navisworks, and Microsoft Office Packages.
  • Demonstrated excellence in time management and diagnostic abilities.
  • Capable of working collaboratively in a team or independently.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Adept at making decisions under pressure and meeting tight deadlines.
  • Sound knowledge of current electrical, fire alarm, and emergency lighting standards in Ireland.

As an Electrical Project Engineer:

  • Conduct a comprehensive examination of drawings, specifications, and schedules to ensure alignment with relevant standards and industry guidelines.
  • Guarantee the installation of Works adheres to Project specifications and the Project QA plan, established through pre-agreed benchmarking.
  • Take charge of devising engineering alternative solutions, complete with detailed calculations and sketches for client approval.
  • Acquaint yourself with Design/IFC specifications and drawings to fully grasp the Project’s scope, ensuring compliance with specifications and adhering to the schedule. This involves generating and managing Requests for Information to be sent to the client.
  • Utilise engineering software tools such as Dialux or Relux, Amtech Pro Design, Navisworks, BIM 360, Procore, or equivalent platforms. Scrutinize coordinated construction drawings and documentation, preparing and overseeing technical submittals for client approval.
  • Conduct a meticulous examination of specialist supplier packages to confirm compliance with project specifications, relevant industry standards, and design intent specifications.
  • Develop and monitor the procurement schedule in collaboration with the procurement team.
  • Review the BCAR preliminary inspection plan and coordinate with the quality team.
  • Additionally, keep a close eye on LEED and BREEAM requirements as directed.

The Package:
