You will play an important role in Aibel’s exciting journey in the ongoing energy transition. Our portfolio covers manned and unmanned Oil and Gas topsides, High Voltage substations (HVAC or HVDC), electrification and other industry projects. About the positionAibel’s Electrical Engineers design and specify electrical systems solutions and strategies for projects in concept, study, and detail phases. In this role you will collaborate closely with project and company representatives across disciplines. Main ESI packages include land cables, subsea cables, HV-equipment in onshore -and offshore substation, and grid connection. Responsibilities and tasks includeResponsible for the Main Power Supply Package Specification, detailing the technical and functional requirements for high & low voltage suppliers to ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and project requirementsManage the Electrical System Infrastructure (ESI) from development to execution, including detailed engineering, fabrication, logistics, installation, contract management, and hand-over to operationDevelop and assist in design of electrical philosophies, strategies, topologies, single line diagrams, load list, system description, PMS/PDCS systems and electrical system solutions QualificationsMaster degree in Electrical Power EngineeringMinimum of 10 years of experience in electrical engineeringSolid understanding of system analysis and transmission systemsProven track record in conceptual and detailed engineering for large-scale projects.Experience and deep knowledge of electrical design according to relevant standards such as NORSOK, ATEX, PTIL, ISO, DNV and IEC Personal qualitiesProficient in English communication, both verbal and writtenCollaborative and open to working in a multicultural team environmentA natural team player, but possess the ability to work independentlySystematic and accurate, with high loyalty to deadline and quality requirementsProactive, seeking advice and share own experiences with othersInnovative approach, eager to improve methodology and solutions through digital tools Become our colleagueAibel offers many career opportunities.
