As Engineering Manager, you will lead Flower’s Asset Integration team, comprising Technical Project Managers, Integration Engineers, and Software Engineers. Your mission is to ensure the team integrates renewable energy assets into our asset portfolio in a seamless and efficient manner. You will be responsible for setting strategic direction, fostering cross-functional collaboration, and ensuring our integration projects deliver both financial and societal value.This position may involve occasional site visits at different project stages. It is well suited for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and enjoys working at the intersection of technology, energy and sustainability.What You’ll Do

• Define and execute the vision for integrating renewable energy assets, aligning technical initiatives with business objectives
• Lead, mentor, and inspire a multi-disciplinary team of technical experts
• Oversee complex integration projects, ensuring effective deployment of assets like batteries, solar, wind, and hydro within our grid portfolio
• Plan and adapt team size and structure to align with evolving project demands, ensuring optimal resource allocation and timely project delivery
• Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to drive process improvements and innovation
• Guide the team through high-level architecture and design decisions for system scalability, automation, IoT integrations to ensure robust, future-proof solutions
• Manage internal and external stakeholders, setting clear expectations and delivering projects on time and within scope

Who You Are

• A seasoned engineering leader with a track record managing high-functioning technical teams
• You come with a rich technical background from renewable energy systems, asset integration, or a related engineering field
• Skilled in software development and IoT/hardware integration, with a noted ability to navigate complex, large-scale projects
• A strategic thinker and proactive problem-solver with some outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills
• Interested in the energy transition and committed to delivering sustainable solutions
• Experience within the energy sector-especially renewable energy or grid management-is highly desirable
• Proficiency in English
