We are searching for an exceptional Remote Engineering Manager to join our client’s dynamic software development startup. Our client is a prominent multi-asset liquidity and technology white-label solutions provider for brokerages and exchanges, and with a well-funded operation and a team of over 200 employees, they are revolutionizing the industry.Requirements:Responsibilities:● Manage the software engineering stream and sub-stream to ensure efficient project execution and product development.● Oversee the day-to-day activities of the stream employees.● Onboard and offboard engineering team mangers.● Provide technical validation of the system requirements and solutions,align it with company strategic vision.● Control over the planned release development timeline.● Control over system design and product architecture.● Synchronize priorities with the Product Manager across the B2Corestream.● Constantly improve CI/CD practices in the department, tech radar,technological stacks, and protocols and services.● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and addresstechnical challenges and opportunities.● Report progress weekly and monthly to the Operational Committee.Obligatory:● Strong knowledge of Go (8.0+), Unit/Integration/Feature-Testing.● Minimum 5 years of commercial development on GO (at least 3 yearsduring last 5 years).● At least 2 years’ experience in a technology leadership role in teams of10+ people● Strong knowledge of software development methodologies, webapplication architecture, and database design, experience with applyingSOLID, DRY, KISS etc. principles.● In-depth experience in distributed systems, microservices architecture,understanding of Twelve-Factor App principles, experience buildingCloud based SaaS applications.● In-depth experience in Docker and Kubernetes.● Experience with any message broker (NATS, Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.),Redis, relational DBs: PostgreSQL and/or MySQL● Strong communication and collaboration skills.Preferably:Experience in splitting backend monolith application to microservices. Experience with observability: logs and metrics collection, application profiling and tracing, errors collection with Sentry, visualization with Grafana.Expertise in one of modern PHP frameworks: Laravel or Symfony.Join our client’s innovative startup and play a pivotal role in driving the success of our cutting-edge software solutions.
