Then this may be the opportunity for you.About usLC&I Capital & Credit Portfolio Management is part of Corporate & Institutional Banking (CIB) which is the coverage function for the largest customer relationships in Danske Bank. The unit consists of multiple teams that are responsible for capital and balance sheet allocation including analysis of single name credits across CIB’s customer portfolio.About the roleIn 1st Line Credit Global Institutions, we are looking for a senior profile with a proven track record that swiftly can take part in supporting Institutional Banking’s growth within structured and NAV based lending. You will be responsible for supporting the organisation with various tasks, including but not limited to:

• Conducting valuation modelling and stress testing of both liquid and illiquid assets pledged as collateral for new transactions
• Contributing to the ongoing risk and performance monitoring of the existing portfolio
• Supporting internal discussions and stakeholder alignment, particularly with 2nd line credit and risk teams when assessing new structures and asset types
• Adopting consistent and prudent frameworks for valuation, stress testing, and structuring of transactions with different types of assets

What we are looking forWe are seeking a structured, proactive professional with a strong foundation in finance and risk. The ideal candidate will have:

• A Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering or a related field
• Solid experience with structured and NAV based lending, ideally from roles within banking or alternatively having worked on the buy side
• Extensive experience in valuation modelling and stress testing of financial assets
• Understanding of how loan structuring, covenants, borrowing base mechanisms etc. can mitigate risks
• Ability to convey complicated problems into pros and cons to form the basis for decision making from a credit perspective
• A collaborative mindset, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with stakeholders across functions
• Coding skills within Python/SAS/SQL is an advantage
