We´re currently looking for two experienced software engineers with front end focus.Who is your future team?This is a unique opportunity to be part of a new development team that is to be started. The team will be focusing on an operator as end user to consume and make use of surveillance information, with its foundation in video and analytic data.At Axis in Linköping, we work in small teams where all team members share and collaborate on all the tasks of a software team. To facilitate this, we are believers in methods that encourage that you are never alone when coding or performing other tasks. Examples of methods used today are ensemble- and pair programming.As a team you assume the end-to-end responsibility of your software services; from development and testing to deploy and maintenance.What you’ll do here as a Software Engineer?The responsibilities of the role include:Participate as a dedicated team member in everyday teamworkTake an active part in designing the architecture of the productA lot of communication with different stakeholders and other development teamsTogether with colleagues drive continuous improvement of our development methodology including testLearn and search for new ways to improve how we workWe´d love to hear that you have:Besides having a big personal interest in software development and really enjoy spreading your knowledge, we love to see that you have/are:5+ years of work experience in programming and bringing software product(s) to the marketA relevant engineering degree within e.g Computer Science or similarWork experience from front end developmentBonus points if you are familiar with cloud deployed products, TypeScript, React, Node.js and FluentInterest in full stack development and quality assurance in a broad range of technologies and deployment environmentsWorking knowledge of test automation and CI/CDService minded and find it easy to communicate and interact with other peopleCurious to learn and searching for ways to improve how we work and new technologyA dedicated team player!What Axis has to offer:This job is situated in Linköping, primarily on-site in our newly built office in Ebbepark.
