Read more and apply today for a life-changing career.The positionAs our new External Security Operations Manager, you will interact daily with a great variety of internal and external stakeholders, responding to business needs of great variety and many changing priorities. Therefore, your ability to effectively communicate, collaborate and prioritize is key.Some of your responsibilities will be to:

• Oversee and drive the daily operations of external security services in collaboration with the ESO team, Lines of Business (LoB), Projects, and external security partners.
• Manage and support relationships with external security partners to ensure cost-effective and high-quality service standards.
• Ensure strong reporting and data-driven follow-up in both operational and financial aspects of security services.
• Coordinate operational activities and structures in collaboration with ESO, LoB, and external security partners, while supporting the development of new security services and procedures for smooth operations.
• Conduct regular audits and assessments of security measures to ensure compliance and effectiveness, and serve as a point of contact for security-related inquiries and escalations.

Qualifications

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Project Management, Risk Management, or a related field.

• Demonstrated expertise in data analysis and reporting.
• Extensive experience managing large contracts, including contract management.
• Track record of effectively collaborating with external suppliers and multiple stakeholders, specifically in relation to security.

• Knowledge of protocols and risk management, as well as experience in physical security or a related field, would be considered an advantage.

As a person, you are a proactive and organized professional with strong operational skills and excellent business understanding. You possess proven experience in developing PowerPoint presentations that effectively communicate key information to both internal and external stakeholders, including senior management. Your strong analytical skills enable you to manage data efficiently and create insightful reports.You are capable of handling most situations independently, requiring minimal guidance, though you are not hesitant to seek advice on more complex matters.Fluent in English, you communicate effectively in both verbal and written forms, while proficiency in Danish is considered an advantage.In compliance with company requirements, you maintain a clean criminal record and hold a valid driver’s license (minimum category B), which is essential for occasional travel around the Copenhagen area. Your excellent organizational skills allow you to adjust processes as needed to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.About the DepartmentThe External Security Operations team, based in Bagsværd within Corporate Facilities, is responsible for ensuring the quality of all external guard services at Novo Nordisk Denmark and overseeing contract management within our security operations. Our collaborative efforts are dedicated to upholding the highest security standards and safeguarding Novo Nordisk’s personnel and assets.
