We are looking for someone to be responsible for delivering top quality within our direct sales channel, focussing on working with our partner agency and delivering the direct sales strategy. Your mission is to get more customers falling in love with Modern Milkman! You will be responsible for everything from managing our partner agency and sales quality, as well as delivering incredible sales events across the country.This role is a key part of our community growth strategy. You’ll be supporting our Modern Milkman ambassadors, who constantly have direct interaction with our active or potential customers. Not only do they need to deliver subscribers but ensure we’re setting our Milkies up for success to deliver silently to doorsteps throughout the night. With plenty of room for development and growth, this is an incredibly exciting time to join!Responsibilities:The role involves a combination of management of the direct sales strategy and executing it. Everything from deciding where we sell and how we pitch, to training and agency relationship management.Direct sales strategy
- Work cross-functionally with the Commercial Operations and Operations teams to set a successful direct sales strategy
- Own the direct sales playbook from creation to delivery
- Sales forecasting
- Plan and deliver our sales events across the country
Events management
- Create our events plan for the year to maximise sales opporutnities
- Lead the delivery of successful events campaigns that maximise sales and position our brand in the right way
Collaboration with key business functions
- Provide feedback from the customer wherever possible on app experience, product range and service
- Work with commercial operations and finance to work to delivering the budgeted number of sales
Direct sales
- Manage the day to day relationship with our partner agency, prioritising quality to ensure our customers and potential customers are getting the best possible experience at the doorstep
Requirements:Sales experience & industry knowledge
- Have experience of door to door sales and events and be able to do both independently
- Experience with target-driven environments. Strong history of meeting or exceeding sales targets and KPIs, with the ability to develop strategies to ensure team success.
Leadership & Management Skills
- Experience in recruiting, training, and developing salespeople to grow their skills and achieve goals.
- Have experience running a sales field team and motivating a team remotely
- Communication Skills: Clear communication to relay strategies, goals, and feedback to the team. Ability to bridge communication between the field and head office.
Other
- Be geographically mobile, able to stay away from home when required to cover territories across the UK

- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with a food subscription service, its sales cycles, customer base, and competitors
