Job Description:Eaton´s new campus for its critical power systems in Vantaa, Finland, integrates all current activities into a much larger site. Then we want to hear about you!What you’ll do:As a Field Service Engineer (FSE) within the local Country Service Unit, you will be mainly working in large data center projects. You are going to be responsible for installation, commissioning, fault finding/repairs & Preventative Maintenance while providing a first class service for the Eaton installed base products to ensure maximum customer satisfaction and loyalty. Your will also provide support to the extended EMEA Service community through high level technical knowledge and experience in the field.Responsible for overseeing Data centre commissioning, on behalf of Eaton Field Service in local country service unitProvide the highest level of technical expertise in all Hyperscale commissioning activities.Support and train Local Field Service Engineers in such activitiesOnboard, coach and mentor new Field Service Engineers that join EatonManage key account technical escalations providing support including site visits, to engineers and customers alike, drive escalations to conclusion and provide feedback where necessary.Work closely with Project Managers, advising on commissioning considerations and assisting on selection of suitable engineers, carry out site visits as required.Assist Project Management Organization with support of high profile clients, providing technical advice and attending site visits as required.Maintain direct links with business units (factories) and act as focal point for all technical exchange regarding the commissioning procedures and testingManage sub contractor teams were requiredPerform Health & Safety audits of Field Service Engineer and subcontractors ensuring the high standards required by EATON are maintained.Qualifications:Installer electrical background, suitable education/qualifications5+ years in the field focusing on Data Centers/UPSSkills:Three phase electrical installation and commissioning experience essential.Working knowledge of industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, SNMP, OPC, DDE, TCP/IP is an advantageProgramming of PLC control systems (Power Control, Generator Control, SCADA, or process control) is an advantageGood understanding of switch panels and power distributionFluency in English and FinnishExcellent communication skills, strong customer focusFlexibility, being able to work together with different culturesWhat we can offer to you:Contract in fast growing global companyChallenging projects in dynamic collaborative teamGreat promotional opportunities – We encourage internal promotion, whenever possibleExcellent working environment – safety and ethic are really important for usAdditional Information: As part of our commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy workplace, all new hires are required to undergo an occupational health care medical check-up and drug test prior to starting employment.#LI-KK2We are committed to ensuring equal employment opportunities for job applicants and employees.
