What you need to knowMatrix Recruitment isworking with their client in the Medical Devices industry. They are looking for a Field Service Engineer to join their Dublin based team.
This position will be integral in providing Maintenance, Installation, validation and calibration support to Life science/Medical equipment.
This is a Permanent position the working hours will be on a Monday to Friday 9AM-5PM basis. There will be On-call support required, where there will be a out of hours rota aligned with the position.Duties and responsibilitiesInstall and test complex medical, lab, and life science equipment on-site.Performed scheduled preventative maintenance to ensure equipment reliability.Provided troubleshooting, repair, and out-of-hours support for customers and field staff.Diagnose and repair equipment faults, managed service calls and appointments.Maintain service records, requisitioned spare parts, and managed stock inventory.Develop positive working relationships with customers, suppliers, system users and company personnelAttend internal/external trainingWhat we need from youAn engineering degree in disciplines such as Biomedical engineering, Mechanical engineering, electrical/mechanical engineering or a similar discipline.Have exposure/Strong interest in getting hands on with Medical/Lifesciences equipmentExposure or strong willingness to carry out duties such as installing, repairing/fault finding and calibrating equipment dailyCustomer focussedFull Irish drivers license is a mustApply for this job now by sending in a Word version of your CV or get in touch with Eugene at eugene@matrixrecruitment.ie or alternatively by phone at 0874075822.
