We are delighted to be partnering exclusively with a successful Irish business headquartered in Cork to identify a Financial Business Partner to join their team. The business has celebrated significant growth over recent years and is well positioned for further expansion.This is a hugely varied role with a strong commercial focus, where the person will have regular interaction with C-Suite executives. This role will suit someone who is passionate about partnering with business stakeholders, is a forward thinker and has a natural skill in translating Finance data into meaningful insights for the business.The role reports to a top-class Group Financial Controller who promotes an excellent culture on the team. There is a real opportunity to use your expertise to help drive the commercial objectives of the business forward.

  • Take on a lead role in the forecasting and budgeting setting process
  • Act as a key Finance Business Partner to the business stakeholders
  • Identify and investigate variances to budget & forecast, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with the business and cross functional teams at all levels
  • Deep dive into financial data and become a subject matter expert with the ability to provide additional insights to the business
  • Become a central point of contact between Finance and the wider business
  • Participate in group wide projects as required

ABOUT THE PERSON

  • Professional Accountancy qualification with 5+ years PQE
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with attention to detail
  • Proven ability to influence at all levels in the organization
  • Strong commercial acumen
  • Organized and efficient with ability to prioritize workload and follow through on tasks
  • Positive ‘can do’ attitude
