Delivery Hero has been listed on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange since 2017 and is part of the MDAX stock market index.Job DescriptionThe Country Finance Director will lead the Foodora Finnish finance team and is responsible for overseeing all financial activities, ensuring the alignment of the country’s financial goals with the organization’s strategic objectives. This role includes overseeing budgeting, forecasting, financial planning and analysis, regulatory compliance, and risk management.Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Leadership & Strategic PlanningLead the development and execution of the country’s financial strategy, ensuring alignment with the organization’s overall objectives.Act as a key advisor to the local leadership team, providing insights on financial performance and strategic direction.Budgeting, Forecasting & Financial AnalysisOversee the annual budgeting and monthly forecasting process, ensuring alignment with country and corporate goals.Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost optimization and revenue enhancement.Present financial insights and reports to local leadership and key stakeholders.Regulatory Compliance & Risk ManagementEnsure full compliance with local, regional, and global financial regulations, tax policies, and legal requirements.Lead external audits, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.Financial Operations & ControlOversee financial operations, including accounting, payroll, treasury, and cash flow management.Continuously improve financial processes and systems to increase operational efficiency and reporting accuracy.People Management & Team DevelopmentLead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.Provide professional development opportunities for finance team members, building a strong and capable workforce.Stakeholder EngagementCollaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors and government bodies.Represent the finance function in discussions with business functions, providing insights to support decision-making.Key CompetenciesProven leadership and decision-making skills in a fast-paced environment.Ability to work cross-functionally and build relationships with senior stakeholders.Strong understanding of financial regulations, accounting principles, and corporate finance.Effective communication and presentation skills for engaging with executive leadership and external partners.QualificationsEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; CPA certification strongly preferred.Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in senior finance roles, preferably with experience as a Finance Director/CFO or similar position within a complex organization.Skills: Strong financial acumen, strategic thinking, and analytical skills.Technical Proficiency: Experience with financial systems (ERP), advanced Excel skills, and familiarity with digital finance tools.Language: EnglishAdditional InformationOur company structure is characterized by flat hierarchies, and support from your colleagues is guaranteed.You are an integral part of the management team and are directly involved in the planning and implementation of foodora’s strategic direction.Professional diversity, lived collegiality, and a motivated team from which you can learn and be inspired.An extremely varied, responsible role in a successful, rapidly growing international company.A great learning curve in a collaborative environment with no limits for ideas and their implementation.At Delivery Hero/foodora, we believe that diversity is key to creating not only an exciting product but also an outstanding customer and employee experience.
